Aldelo VARS should take note that the company has released a new version of its software — Aldelo 2013 (formerly known as Aldelo For Restaurants). Enhancements include an updated UI (user interface) and icons, bar tab authorization, Do Not Distribute Gratuity as Cash (optional setting), offline processing for select processors, activation via EPS, and menu-item countdown, among others. In fact, according to Aldelo President Harry Tu, there are more than 100 updates to the previous version to enhance ease of use, productivity, and profits.
In related Aldelo news, WaveSoft Technologies, a developer of mobile POS applications for the hospitality industry, recently announced that their WavePOS for Aldelo app is no longer limited to the screen resolution of the iPod touch or iPhone. The optimization will turn the graphics into HD versions which will make full use of the newer retina-based mobile devices. Optimizing the application for the iPad and IPad Mini will enable users to more effectively view Aldelo’s layout wih the larger screen size.
WavePOS is PCI-certified and an Aldelo-ready solution that is fully integrated with Aldelo EDC 6.2. With WavePOS for Aldelo, users will be able to synchronize their full menu, modifiers, and other systems configurations from Aldelo onto the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and iPad Mini. This capability gives Aldelo users a consistent ordering experience on handhelds, tablets, and stationary POS terminals.
